I’m Alex Chiong—founder, owner, and lead artist at Alex Chiong Tattoo Studio in Miami. I am a visual artist with roots in fine art and tattooing. I began my journey at the San Alejandro Academy of Fine Arts in Havana, where I learned drawing, painting, and composition. Soon after, I moved into tattooing—and that became my life.
Today, I focus on large-format Black & Grey realism: sleeves, back pieces, and portraits. Each tattoo is custom. First, I listen to your idea; then I sketch and refine; finally, I build the piece with clean lines, smooth shading, and careful detail. My goal is simple: a tattoo that tells your story and heals well over time.
I bring 20+ years of experience and award-winning work from major conventions. Yet I stay close to each client—clear guidance, steady hands, and a calm studio setting. Above all, I want you to feel confident from consultation to aftercare.
